Specifically, those who have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infoworld.com\/article\/3052307\/microsoft-windows\/heres-the-rundown-on-microsofts-latest-non-security-office-patches.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KB 3114941 installed<\/a>, and those running Office 2013 CtR 15.0.4815.1001 are seeing crashes with error code 0xc0000005.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft has details of the problem in <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/kb\/3158521\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KB 3158521<\/a>. For those running the &#8220;MSI version&#8221; &#8212; the old-fashioned version of Office 2013 without Click-to-Run &#8212; uninstalling KB 3114941 is <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/kb\/3114941\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">relatively painless<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rolling back a Click-to-Run patch, though, is not for the timid to undertake.
